Uniting Through Virtual Prayer

Prayer, being an integral pillar of the church, continues to play an important role in the absence of large gatherings. Virtual prayer meetings kicked off on 20 May 2020, with our first Mid-week online prayer on Wednesday afternoons. Shortly after, we also held our first virtual extended prayer watch on 30 May 2020, where faithful prayer warriors came together to seek the Lord from 12am to 6am. These gatherings became a place to connect and unite with other Cornerstonians, as we prayed for the fulfilment of God’s purposes over the church and the nations.

Looking beyond our shores, two special prayer gatherings were held in 2020 to intercede for our Christian brothers and sisters in the nations – The Day of the Christian Martyr on 29 June and Prayer for the Persecuted Church on 1 November. Members of the Bible College of Wales alumni also joined the Cornerstone family for these virtual meetings, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to unite in prayer across borders.

Church members are welcome to join our morning Throne room prayer, held from 8.30am-9.30am from Tuesdays to Fridays.
